Send WhatsApp broadcasts with approved templates
Create a template, get it approved, pick an audience, then send or schedule. Anyone who opted out is always left out.
1. Create a template
WhatsApp only allows businesses to start a conversation or broadcast with a template it has approved. In Marketing, open Message templates and click Create template. Approval usually takes minutes to a few hours; use Sync from Meta to refresh.
2. Send the broadcast
- In Marketing, click New broadcast. It appears once you have an approved template.
- Name the campaign and pick the template.
{{name}}fills in each contact's name. - Choose who gets it: tags, whether they have booked, and when they were last seen. Preview reach shows how many opted-in contacts it reaches.
- Send now, or Schedule it for later.
Watch out
Anyone who replies STOP is unsubscribed and never receives a broadcast again. Keep broadcasts useful: too many ignored messages can lower your number's standing with WhatsApp.

Each broadcast shows how many were sent, delivered, read, replied to and failed.
Email broadcasts
Email works the same way from Marketing, once you connect an email sender.
